Summary: Led end-to-end product design for the iOS app for over 7 years, shaping phone and tablet experiences that improved navigation, increased subscriptions, and enhanced the reading experience. Spearheaded the 2023 Android app launch, scaling successful iOS patterns while tailoring the UX for Android users.

Homepage Redesign
Redesigned the homepage to remove the split view and create a clearer, more readable layout, expanding article cards to full width with larger images for better scannability. Added dark and light mode to improve accessibility and give users more control over their reading experience.

Navigation Redesign
Improved navigation by adding a top scrollbar for quick access to vertical pages and introducing a bottom navigation bar to make key features easier to find. Also added a dedicated “Browse” menu, allowing users to access individual pages for each vertical, making it easier to quickly find the specific content they want.
